A bespoke digital portrait from your photographs, with protected private image intake, a numbered proof, one included revision, explicit approval and high-resolution plus sharing files.

Your photograph, made into a lasting piece of art

Commission a premium semi-realistic painterly portrait in the picturekind Signature Style. Everyday mobile photographs are welcome. Upload one to five clear JPG, PNG or WebP images, up to 15 MB each. If an iPhone photo is saved as HEIC, export or share a JPG copy before uploading.

Choose photographs that give us the best start

Faces and important features are visible, in focus and not covered by filters
Natural daylight or even indoor light is better than deep shadow
Use the original image where possible rather than a social-media screenshot
Different people or pets can come from separate photographs
Older or imperfect photographs are welcome; we will confirm whether they are usable before the proof window begins

What your commission includes

One to six people and/or pets, priced by subject count
A considered painterly background
A protected, numbered customer proof
One consolidated revision
A print-ready high-resolution JPG (at least 5000px on the longest edge) and a 1600px sharing JPG
Your chosen portrait, landscape or square composition
A personal, non-commercial use licence

Your first proof is targeted within 5–7 working days after we confirm that the source photographs are usable. Editable working files are not included. Additional revisions are £20 each and are agreed before work begins. A detailed environment or complex reconstruction is quoted separately.

You approve before final delivery

Your private proof is numbered and protected. You must explicitly approve the latest version before the final files are released; silence is never treated as approval.

Turn the approved artwork into a print

After your high-resolution final is delivered, your private review page unlocks A4 and A3 unframed giclée prints of that exact approved version. UK tracked delivery is included in the print price.

Source photos * 1–5 JPG, PNG or WebP files; 15 MB each, 50 MB total. Photos are encrypted and are not placed in the public Media Library.

A usable photo has:

sharp, unobstructed faces or defining features
enough light to judge skin, fur, eye and clothing colours
the full head, hairstyle, ears or other distinctive details in frame

Separate photos of different people or pets are fine; use the brief above to tell us how they should come together.

I confirm that I own or have permission to use these photos and have parent or guardian authority for any children shown. I expressly ask picturekind to begin the personalised service during the 14-day cancellation period. I understand I may have to pay for work already performed if I cancel, and that the cancellation right ends once the service is fully performed.
